Foundation Selected as Beneficiary of David Gray Testimonial

The Foundation is delighted to announce that we have been selected as one of the beneficiaries of a series of testimonial events that will be honouring Hibs legend, David Gray.

David has kindly chosen the Foundation after creating a close relationship with us throughout his playing career and will work with the Foundation’s team on selecting the various channels that will receive the funds that are raised.

David joined Hibs in 2014, making 177 appearances and scoring 15 goals before taking up a coaching role within the club.

A stoppage time winner in the 2016 Scottish Cup Final secured David’s place in Easter Road folklore as he captained the first Hibs side to Scottish Cup glory in 114 years.

Supporters have the opportunity to get an exclusive insight into David Gray’s illustrious career through his testimonial dinner.

The event will take place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) on Saturday 9 September 2023, with special entertainment acts and interviews for supporters to enjoy.

Kindly sponsored by The Gordon Family, JB Contacts Ltd and the Kilgour Group, it’s a black-tie event with doors opening at 6pm.

Easter Road will also host the David Gray Testimonial Match on the 15^th of October.
