Hibs in Schools

Hibernian Community Foundation are proud to deliver a number of alternative curriculum programmes to school pupils across Edinburgh

Hibs Cash

Delivered in partnership with Hibernian Football Club sponsors Capital Credit Union, Hibs Cash is a 6 week programme delivered to primary 6-7 pupils on how to be money smart and safe. Topics within Hibs Cash include need vs want, how do we budget, keeping money safe and avoiding fraud.

Don’t Start It

Don’t Start It focusses on Alcohol Awareness and healthy living with primary 6-7 pupils. Sessions last 90 minutes, with a half each of education and exercise. Sessions hold focus on caring for our body, laws attached to alcohol, managing peer pressure, substance use and how to stay safe.

This programme is supported by Edinburgh City Council and also includes a guest session with Police Scotland.

Bright Sparks

Supporting Hibernian Football Clubs mantra of the Greenest Club In Scotland, we deliver Bright Sparks to primary 5 pupils across Edinburgh. Sessions encourage pupils to consider how to save energy, reduce waste and increasing recycling. All sessions are attached to curriculum for excellence outcomes.

The following session delivery points are now complete, however, we can share content from each project onto schools if they wish. This can be done by contacting [email protected]
