Hibernian Community Foundation is thrilled to announce that Cara Mizen is the first winner of the Happy Hibee Draw since its return!
Cara, a dedicated Hibs fan, took home a prize of £595, marking a memorable moment for both her and the Foundation.
Cara has been a passionate supporter of Hibs for a long time. Reflecting on her journey, she shared, “I have supported Hibs for many years, but my first game at Easter Road was in 2018 when we played Molde, and I have been a season ticket holder ever since.”
The Happy Hibee Draw, a popular initiative among Hibs fans, made its much-anticipated return this season. Cara recounted how she decided to participate: “I saw the return of the Happy Hibee draw in the east stand foyer on the way to my seat and thought, ‘Oh, I’ll give that a bash.'”
Little did she know that this spontaneous decision would lead to a significant win.
“I didn’t hear the numbers being called, and I thought my dad was winding me up when he said he thought I had won it,” Cara recalled.
“When the numbers came up on the screen, I was delighted to find out that I did have the jackpot ticket.”
With her winnings, Cara is looking forward to making her upcoming trip to Prague even more special. “My husband and I are off to Prague in December, so the prize money will go towards having a great time there,” she said.
Hibernian Community Foundation is delighted to see the return of the Happy Hibee Draw bring joy to fans like Cara, and we look forward to many more exciting draws in the future.
Hibernian supporters can enter the draw at each home fixture throughout the 2024/25 season with tickets for the draw being sold at each turnstile entrance of Easter Road Stadium. We will be making use of cashless Point of Sale devices for entry.
