What is it?
Christmas Day at Hibernian Community Foundation is a long-standing community project partnered with Hibernian Football Club. Over 500 community members are supported with a hot 3 course meal at Easter Road Stadium or via home drop off. Working with over 30 nominating organisations across Edinburgh and the Lothians, community members most in need can celebrate and share some festive cheer in the comfort of Easter Road suites or the comfort of their own home. 2022 was the biggest Christmas event to date with 2023 an opportunity to grow further.
Why is it important?
An investment would allow Hibernian CF to purchase all required refreshments, provide gifts to all young people attending the meal, provide taxis and transport support to service users.
What is it?
Hibs Memories is a social club for the over 55s held twice monthly in the community hub space of Easter Road Stadium. FM attracts between 40-60 people a week and reached a peak of 90 pre-pandemic. The group aims to tackle social isolation and loneliness with activities such as quizzes, talks from former players, exploration of local history, musical acts and sing-a-longs, along with tea/coffee and home-baking. The group is led by club historian Tom Wright a team of dedicated volunteers, who organise small fundraising events.
Why is it important?
An investment would allow the group to pay for refreshments, musical acts, entertainment, taxis for members, equipment, visits to local attractions, a festive meal together as well as renewed marketing materials for further promotion to fans and local community.
What is it?
Club Together is a free weekly social lunch open to all community members within the hub space delivered in partnership with local food charity, Empty Kitchens Full Hearts. A free hot meal is provided to all guests with opportunity to also engage in activities including: Wi-Fi / Computer Use Pool / Table Football Book Swap PlayStation Board Games Clothing Bank Club together on average attracts between 40-60 people a week with increased attendance evident throughout the winter months. The group aims to challenge food poverty, tackle social isolation and loneliness. The group is led by HCF staff a team of dedicated volunteers, who support food preparation and service.

What is it?
The Hibernian Community Academy offers the opportunity for young people aged 5-18years old to progress through a pathway that allows them to fulfil their full potential in the game. Offering provision at both regional (Edinburgh & The Lothians) and national level (Scotland wide) the pathway is supported by 40+ volunteer staff along with 2 part time Academy Managers.
Why is it important?
The front of shirt sponsor will allow all players to receive free match day kit each season and ensure the professional high standards associated to the Hibernian brand are seen regionally and nationally across the grassroots and youth development sector. The Community Academy supports the health & wellbeing of all young people along with providing an opportunity to be part of an inclusive environment focusing on teamwork, leadership and fair play.

What is it?
Hibernian Community Choir, delivered in partnership with Sing In the City is a new opportunity for community members in 2023. Supporting over 50 local community members the weekly choir hosted within the community hub at Easter Road is open to singers of all levels. Our Choir is an ideal opportunity to meet new people, try something new, learn songs and build self-confidence.

An investment would support the costs attached to tutor and refreshments within the hub space.
What is it?
School of Football – Hibs Class supports secondary pupils S1-3 with alternate curriculum and additional physical activity opportunities. Hibs Class curriculum includes participation in football and theory around tactical strategy, health 7 wellbeing and how Football is more than a game. Each year group receive 3 hours of session each week from our Community Foundation Coach based within the school. School of Football – Hibs Class currently supports 40 pupils weekly.
Why is it important?
An investment would fund coaching time, equipment required for on pitch delivery and provide pupils with appropriate sports training wear.
What is it?
Hibs Heroes will be our branded Holiday Camp provision starting in 2023. Our vision is to engage with over 1,000 young people and families across the school holiday period providing affordable and high quality provision for young people to remain active and engaged. Camps will be held at various venues across Edinburgh & The Lothians.
Why is it important?
Hibs Heroes Holiday camps have numerous benefits. They can tackle holiday hunger and support physical activity in young people while also looking at social connection, leadership & teamwork.
What is it?
In 2023 we aim to launch our Para Football Programme with the integration of an Autism Team (12-17years). This team will train weekly and compete in the national Autism league run by the Scottish FA and Para Football Scotland.
Why is it important?
Ensuring we deliver to our strategy and providing Football for All this project is a key component to our delivery objectives in the years ahead to ensure the Hibernian brand is supporting our entire community.
What is it?
Our Community Football will look to provide weekly sessions for people aged 18months old to 16years.
Why is it important?
Providing sessions in easy to access local venues across our community is key for us as an engagement tool but also to provide opportunities for young people to learn, explore and develop in a fun safe and rewarding environment. Sessions include: Hibee Tots (18months to 3years) Mini Hibees (3-5years) Hibee Skills (6-12years) Girls Only (3-12years) Train Like a Pro (8-14years)
