Hibees take to the streets for Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2026

Thank you to all supporters who joined the Hibernian Community Foundation for another successful Edinburgh Kiltwalk, raising vital funds to support life-changing community programmes across the city. This year’s participants once again demonstrated the incredible generosity and community spirit of the Hibs family.

Friends, families, volunteers and partners came together for the walk, helping to raise nearly £7000 and counting! A brilliant effort that is vital in supporting initiatives focused on tackling poverty, promoting positive mental health and encouraging healthy lifestyles throughout Edinburgh.

Walking alongside the fundraisers we men’s first team players Joe Newell and Nathan Lowe, showing their support for the Foundation and taking time to meet participants, volunteers and supporters. Their presence demonstrated the strong connection between the football club and the community initiatives that the Foundation delivers across Edinburgh.

Hibernian captain Joe Newell, also a trustee of the Foundation, said:

“It’s amazing to see so many people giving their time and energy to support the Foundation. The connection between the club and the community is something we’re all proud of, and every step taken today will make a real difference. Thank you to everyone who took part and supported this year’s Kiltwalk”

Hibernian Community Foundation Managing Director John MacMillan MBE added:

“What a fantastic day. We are incredibly grateful to every walker, fundraiser, volunteer and supporter who helped make this year’s Kiltwalk such a success. The funds raised will have a lasting impact on people and communities across Edinburgh, and we can’t thank everyone enough for their support.”

The Foundation extended its thanks to all participants, sponsors and supporters who helped make the event possible, once again proving the power of the Hibs community when it comes together for a good cause.
