Hibernian Community Foundation is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded the Platinum Quality Mark by the Scottish Football Association
The Platinum Award is the SFA’s highest and most prestigious award within Quality Mark. It not only recognises an organisation’s commitment and great work on the pitch with players, teams and coaches but also demonstrates that the organisation has truly got Football For All at the heart of what they do. This means they may have opportunities to play for all no matter background, gender or age but also that they are active in the local community they serve with activity and actions that are not on pitch related but utilise the Power of Football.
Achieving the Platinum Quality Mark represents the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to our local community. The Foundation’s programs are focused on creating positive change for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, with initiatives ranging from free meals, mental health support, physical fitness programs, and social inclusion projects. Each of these initiatives plays a crucial role in promoting a healthier, more connected community.
Hibernian Community Foundation would like to extend its gratitude to everyone who has supported our journey to this point. From our dedicated staff and volunteers to our community partners, this award is as much theirs as it is ours. We also wish to thank the Scottish FA for this honour and for their ongoing support of community-led initiatives across Scotland.
Hibernian Community Foundation remains steadfast in our mission to support individuals and families across Edinburgh. We are excited to build on this momentum and continue developing innovative programs that create lasting positive change.
