Hibernian Community Foundation Matchday 2026: What To Expect and How To Support

This Saturday is Hibernian Community Foundation Matchday at Easter Road: shining a light on all the great services provided by Hibernian Football Club’s official charity.

Hibernian Community Choir 

Beginning at 1.45pm across the road from the Club Shop on Albion Place, the Hibernian Community Choir will be performing an array of Hibs classics and upbeat tunes to get you in the mood for the day. They will then move to the East Stand Compound for 2.20pm to perform for those making the way to their seats in the Pat Stanton Stand. There will be donation buckets at both performance for those wishing to donate. 

 

Donate at the Club Store 

Since August 2024 Hibs’ fans have had the opportunity to donate £1 when purchasing items at the Club Store on Albion Place, so far raising over £7,000 in the process. In 2025 alone over £5,500 was raised, and you can add to that this weekend when adding a donation to your purchase. 

 

The Happy Hibee Draw 

Since returning for the start of the 2024-25 season, the Happy Hibee Draw has so far given over £50,000 back to the Hibernian Community, raising the same amount for HCF’s activities. This weekend there will be an increased jackpot, with HCF gauranteeing a jackpot of £2,000! This one-off guarantee promises to be the second biggest jackpot of this season, giving back a huge amount back to the Hibernian Community.Don’t miss your chance to win this one-off maximised jackpot while giving back to HCF. 

 

Bucket Collections at Easter Road 

In the two hours leading up to kick-off there will be bucket collectors walking around the area surrounding Easter Road stadium. The volunteers will accept both cash and card payment, so be sure to look for the purple hoodies and green buckets. 

Pre-match Pitch Walk 

Before the match kicks off there will be a pitch walk from HCF’s Walking Football Participants! Walking Football is part of HCF’s commitment to providing Football For All, and includes the Parkinson’s Walking Football Team. The Parkinson’s Walking Football group is one of the most inspirational teams at HCF, giving those suffering the chance to participate in the game they love. Don’t miss this chance to show support and love for the Walking Football participants at HCF. 

 

Pre-Match Flag Bearers 

Members of Hibernian’s Team United Autism Football Team will be waving the team onto the pitch HCF and Team United flags. Team United, provides football opportunities for children aged 10 to 16y ears old, diagnosed with autism. This is a one-off opportuntiy for these players so make sure to be in the ground to give them a warm welcom. 

 

Community Club Half-Time Matches 

The stars of tomorrow ill take to the Easter Road pitch at half-time for small sided matches for the first time this season! The Hibernian Community club 2017s and 2018s will be competing in 3v3s and 4vs during the interval in front of the East Stand. Don’t miss out on cheering on future Hibs Heroes as they take to Easter Road for their debut matches. 

 

Imagery at Easter Road 

Over the course of the game, as well as in the lead up and half time, there will be a number of HCF content on the big screen; highlighting the range of activities and programme run and the types of support provided. These will include a range of videos and graphics, and HCF hopes these will help to educate the uninitiated in the support we strive to offer.
