Hibs.net announced as Charity Partner of Hibernian Girls’ Football Festival

This contribution will play a crucial role in enabling the Foundation to host the vibrant Girls’ Football Festival which will take place on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June.

The Girls’ Football Festival brings young female football players and enthusiasts together from all over United Kingdom. The event will provide a fantastic opportunity for girls of various ages and skill levels to engage in the sport, develop their abilities, and most importantly, have fun.

2023’s event saw 72 clubs’ field over 1100 players from Under 8’s all the way through to Under 16’s, making it the UK’s largest girls’ only football festival!

The incredibly successful event cemented the Foundations desire to continue the growth of Women’s Football across the country and we hope to create an unforgettable experience for all participants this year.

Hibs.net have provided Hibernian Community Foundation with continuous support across our Girls’ football programmes, including sponsorship of the Hibernian Girls’ Community Academy. Their support has a lasting impact on the development of young female athletes; helping us to nurture talent, foster teamwork, and instil a passion for the game. This ensures that aspiring young players receive the training and resources they need to thrive, both on and off the pitch.
