Hibs Supporters Group (Ladies Only) Sponsor Hibernian Girls’ Festival

Hibernian Community Foundation would like to thank the Hibs Supporters Group (Ladies Only) for coming onboard as the Trophy Sponsor for the festival.

The Hibs Supporters Group (Ladies Only) is predominantly an online community of ladies who take a strong interest in all things Hibs, including the work of the Foundation. However it is also much more than that! The group actively fundraise as a collective and donate to different causes, often raising money to support the Hibernian Women’s First Team. In this instance, the group came together at short notice and raised an incredible sum to support our Girls’ Football Festival! We would like to thank each and every one of them for their unwavering support. Their dedication to supporting the work we do is commendable.

Through their contribution, all girls will receive a medal for taking part in the event, with additional trophies for 11-a-side teams; ensuring that every player has silverware to take home!

The Girls’ Football Festival will take place on Saturday 29 and 30 June. It is a vibrant event which brings young female football players and enthusiasts together from all over United Kingdom. The event will provide a fantastic opportunity for girls of various ages and skill levels to engage in the sport, develop their abilities, and most importantly, have fun.

2023’s event saw 72 clubs’ field over 1100 players from Under 8’s all the way through to Under 16’s, making it the UK’s largest girls’ only football festival! The incredibly successful event cemented the Foundations desire to continue the growth of Women’s Football across the country and we hope to create an unforgettable experience for all participants this year.
