Hibernian Community Foundation in conjunction with Hibernian Football Club is committed to safeguarding children and adults at risk.
The Foundation seeks to create a safe and secure culture, enabling an environment for all vulnerable groups to participate in a broad range of activities relating to football and community projects.
The Foundation’s Child Wellbeing and Protection Officer is responsible for ensuring that all staff, volunteers and coaches follow and adhere to the Hibernian Community Foundation Cild Wellbeing and Protection Policy, all have regular training, all have regular training and all are PVG checked.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare and well-being of vulnerable groups is of paramount importance, and it is everyone’s responsibility to safeguard.
All children and young people have the right to be safe and vulnerable groups are always treated with respect; their views and wishes are listened to and valued. Professional standards are applied regardless of ethnic origin, colour, nationality, race, religion or belief, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability.
