Supporting Our Supporters, the monthly mental health drop-in run by Hibs Community Foundation volunteers, are pleased to announce our next guest speaker, Nathan Moriah-Welsh, on Monday March 25th, 7-8.30pm.
January’s informative talk was delivered by Robert Nesbitt of Scottish Action for Mental Health, who was instrumental in bringing The Changing Room to Hibs, the first Scottish club to run his hugely successful programme. February’s guests were the Longbangers podcast team, who went on to record a podcast with the group. For March’s event, we are delighted to be welcoming Nathan Moriah-Welsh, one of the crop of players introduced to Nick Montgomery’s squad during the January window.
Born in West London in 2002, Nathan’s youth career took him to Chelsea, Brentford, Reading, and AFC Bournemouth. Playing for the latter’s senior team, he has also been capped 14 times for Guyana, scoring three goals for his country. He describes himself as a ‘perfectionist’ who can adapt to various midfield roles. Turning down other Scottish clubs before joining Hibs, he stated he was ‘taken aback’ by the level of our support.
Nathan has kindly volunteered to give a talk about his career to date.
March’s get-together is open to everyone interested in finding out how SoS are trying to keep the Hibs community positive!
Monday March 25th, West Stand, kick-off 7pm!
