Ann Brown is Hibernian Community Foundation’s Interim Chief Executive. Founder of Team United and key in Team United’s partnership with HCF, Ann manages a team of experienced Coordinators. Team United delivers football programmes for Autism and Neurodivergent young people as well as developing other para disciplines. Ann brings a wealth of experience in disability football and 25 years senior management experience in the voluntary sector. Ann also holds the position of Strategic Lead with Scottish Para Football Scotland, an affiliated national association of The Scottish FA.

Paul Greig

Paul orignally joined the Hibernian Community Foundation in 2023 as the Head of Community Football, leaving at the beginning of 2025. In December 2025 Paul returned to lead all football programmes: driving player development and continue strengthening our community impact through the shared passion of football. As the Head of Football, Paul leads the strategice development and delivery of football activities; ensuring excellence, innovaiton and impact whilst championing HCF’s football vision, philosophy and ethos.

 

Paul has extensive experience globally, having worked at all levels of the game in Scotland, New Zealand and the United States, holding a UEFA ‘A’ Licence and is a Scottish FA Coach Educator & Developer.

Katie joined the Hibernian Community Foundation in March 2025 as Head of Community and Depute CEO. Katie brought with her a wealth of experience across a number of sectors, primarily in project delivery within charitable organisations. Across 12 years with the Prince’s Trust, Katie worked across a wide range of fields, succeeding in projects across employability, education, digital, and health and social care. As Head of Community & Depute CEO Katie leads on the strategic development and delivery of programmes and projects that meet the needs of the community surrounding Easter Road. Katie also leads the Community Development Team and develops existing and creates new partnerships to aid in the growth of our programme offering. From a family of lifelong Hibees, Katie is a regular at Easter Road and has been for longer than she can remember.

Samantha has recently graduated after attending Edinburgh college and Edinburgh Napier University where she studied Sports Coaching and Development. Samantha has been a coach for 6 year which includes 2 summers of coaching in the states. Within her 6 years of coaching 3 years of this was spent volunteering with the Community Foundation while she completed her studies. Samantha has an extensive amount of knowledge in coaching both children and adults. In June 2023 Samantha received Young Volunteer of The Year for the work she puts into providing a platform for everyone to be able to participant in football. Samantha was appointed as Football Development Officer in August 2023.

Ayla, born into a family of Hibees initially joined the foundation in 2014, as a player within the girl’s academy programme. Through opportunities within the academy whilst still playing, Ayla initially undertook a coaching role within younger age groups and subsequently has built up 7 years of coaching experience, mainly within the girls and women’s game – which developed into her current role of Community Academy Manager- Girls and Women’s. Outside of football Ayla recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh where she studied Physical Education and is currently undertaking her first year of secondary PE teaching. Beyond her professional life, in her free time Ayla enjoys spending time with her extended family and friends, along with travelling and her new interest in running.

I am Vitaliia, the New Scots Activity Worker, and my name truly reflects my vibrant and energetic lifestyle. I was born into a family of teachers in Staryi Saltiv, a large village near Kharkiv, Ukraine. A voracious reader and keen student, I also wrote poetry, with “Ivanhoe” by Walter Scott being one of my favourite books. I graduated with honours from two universities in Kharkiv and worked as an accountant for 15 years. Following a personal tragedy, I transitioned into psychology and became a Gestalt therapist. Due to the war in Ukraine, I relocated to Scotland. Adapting was challenging, especially since I thrive in sunny environments. My daughter and I moved several times, and I carry the pain for my homeland always. However, joining the Foundation team brought warmth back into my life. I have the best boss and colleagues, and I love creating activities for new Scots.

Cara’s career began in the hospitality and care sectors before she developed a passion for traveling, exploring India and Thailand. Upon her return, she studied Architectural and Decorative Glasswork at Edinburgh’s Telford College. She then spent three years cooking at Black Bo’s vegetarian restaurant before pursuing further studies at Queen Margaret University. Initially enrolled in Dietetics, Cara switched to Public Health Nutrition after witnessing its significant impact on community development. In 2021, she began volunteering with the Cyrenians, starting as a befriender and later cooking meals and coordinating volunteers at the Monday lunch club in the West Stand. Cara joined HCF in 2022, where she continues to work with a dedicated team of volunteers, providing nutritious, home-cooked meals for a growing community. Passionate about the outdoors, Cara enjoys cycling, hiking, and bothy hopping with her niece and nephew. She also continues to create glass designs and is learning woodworking skills.

Erin joined the Hibernian Community Foundation in October 2025 as the Community Projects Officer. Erin gained experience at The Edinburgh Academy as a sports and learning support intern, leading P7 girls football and supporting further boys and girls senior teams. Erin has been coaching football since she was 16, and joined HCF to pursue the challenge of working in football while supporting the community. Erin leads on HCF’s Extra Time Programme and Parkinson’s Walking Football, as well as Football Fans In Training.

Eleanor Conway Holdroyd

Eleanor joined the Hibernian Community Foundation as a Community Activity Worked in August 2025. Eleanor is currently studying MSc in Music Therapy at Queen Margaret University and has a vareid background in music (performance and as a support system), working with special needs children and as a support worker. Eleanor currently leads on the Leith Older People Project at HCF, managing our programmes and initiatives to support the elderly people in our community. Eleanor also uses her skills to lead our ur Community Choir, bringing back a popular initiative in late 2025.
