Hibernian Community Foundation would like to extend its gratitude to the Hanlon Stevenson Foundation (HSF) for their unwavering support and generous contributions to our community impact projects.
HSF’s are committed to helping families in need, and have provided numerous donations to Hibernian Community Foundation to support our work in alleviating food poverty.
The Hanlon Stevenson Foundation formed in May 2019 with the initial funding being provided by donations from Paul Hanlon and Lewis Stevenson as part of the proceeds from their respective Testimonial Years.
Last year, the charity made a remarkable donation of £5,000 to the Ron Gordon Football Challenge 2023. Hanlon Stevenson Foundation also pledged an additional £2,000 for the Ron Gordon Football Challenge 2024. These contributions played a pivotal role in the success of the event, enabling us to provide a memorable experience for all participants.
The funds raised through this event helped us to fund our Community Lunches, allowing us to grow our service provision to 3 community lunches per weeks, on Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Fridays; providing the financial stability to ensure that we can continue our lunch offering to the local community.
Hanlon Stevenson Foundation have also provided financial support of £1,000 to our REWIND: Time For Heroes project, which offered food parcels to families struggling during the COVID 2020 lockdown.
Director of the Foundation, Daljit Singh, said:
“Our work in alleviating food poverty would not be possible without the assistance we have received from Hanlon Stevenson Foundation. We would like to thank the charity for their continued, and unwavering support.”
Graeme Cadger, Chairman of Hanlon Stevenson Foundation, added:
“We have enjoyed supporting HCF, especially over the past year when our relationship has grown stronger. We admire the good work they do in the community and look forward to collaborating going forward”.
