Foundation Provided Office Furniture by ReWORK

The Community Foundation office was supplied with furniture by ReWORK, as we continue to expand our team.

ReWork is the furniture re-use scheme which entwines the ethos and values of its creator, Workhorse Group, by supporting communities nationwide by donating furniture free of charge to charities and community hubs.

As the Foundation’s team continues to expand following the merge with Team United on Friday 1 September, additional furniture was required to fulfil the needs within our office.

Desks, stools and swivel chairs were provided by ReWORK to kit out a new office space and break out area within the South Stand of Easter Road.

Thanks to ReWORK, the furniture within Easter Road allows us to welcome community guests as well as giving our staff an area where they can deliver one on one support sessions when needed.

Fraser, from Workhorse Generation, said:

“It was great to see Lewis and the team and hear about the great work they are doing within Leith and further afield.

“Hibernian Community Foundation will always be close to my heart after spending many happy years with them, so when the opportunity came to have ReWORK partner with them it was a no brainier.

“The work they do is fantastic, and we look forward to supporting them again in the future.”

Lewis Melee, Head of Community, added:

‘’The ReWORK programme kindly shared office resources across to us here at Hibernian Community Foundation following our team increasing in numbers in September.

We now have new office chairs to support our meeting break out space and tables that can be used as hot desks.

“This will be a great help when the office is busy and we have meetings with community members or when welcoming partners into the space.

“All items donated are in great condition and have saved the Foundation funds which can now be returned back into the community to make a positive impact on lives local to us here at HCF. ‘’

We would like to thank ReWORK for their incredible generosity.
