Successful Community Foundation Matchday

The first Community Foundation matchday of the season was an incredible success, with funds being raised as we showcased various Foundation led programmes!

Saturday’s home tie against Dundee allowed us to present the programmes that we run across the Foundation whilst raising funds for our Community Outreach and Football for All provision.

We would like to express a huge thanks to Bevvy, who changed the QR code landing page on club jersey’s to our website, in support of our fundraising activity and the wider work that we do the Foundation.

Our thanks must go to the match sponsors – Bevvy, Utilita, Dunedin IT, Whisky Row and Capital Credit Union for each donating one minute of LED advertising space to the Foundation for the fixture.

The incredible support from the Club and the fans in recent months has been extraordinary and we are looking forward to continuing our growth across Leith and the surrounding areas.

This allowed us to highlight the excellent work that is provided across Edinburgh and the Lothians on a large scale.

Our volunteers throughout the day helped the Foundation with food preparation and donation collection, as we served free soup to fans from outside of the North Stand and ran bucket collections before and after the match.

We would also like to thank Heather MacLeod and our Community Choir for performing outside of the West Stand prior to kick-off!
